#Maui County Outstanding Older American

County of Maui honors Outstanding Older American Male and Female of 2026

The County of Maui Department of Human Concerns Office on Aging announced that Joseph Pontanilla and Roselani Enomoto received the 2026 Maui County Outstanding Older American Male and Female awards, respectively, during a recent ceremony to honor Older Americans Month and the inspiring contributions of Maui County’s kūpuna.

Winners announced for 2023 Maui County Outstanding Older American awards

Stephen Kealoha of Pukalani, Judith Mikami of Kaunakakai, and Betty Yamashiro of Kahului were selected to receive Maui County Outstanding Older American awards for 2023.

Maui County Office on Aging in Wailuku to close briefly for May 5 event

The county’s Office on Aging in Wailuku will be closed to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, for the 54th Maui County Outstanding Older American Recognition Awards event. It will reopen from 2 to 4:30 p.m. that day.

One day left to nominate Maui’s outstanding older Americans for 2022

The Maui County Office on Aging has extended the deadline for nominations for Maui County’s 53rd Annual Outstanding Older American Male and Female Awards to Thursday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m.
