Maui Police Identify 10 More Presumptive Positive; Meantime 7 Earlier Presumptive Cases are Now Negative

The Maui Police Department today identified 10 more presumptive positive COVID-19 cases today. The news comes as seven earlier presumptive positive tests all came back negative today.  The original three cases identified through the department last week have been confirmed as positive.  

10 Employees at Maui’s Wailuku Police Station Test Positive for COVID-19 Since Aug. 27

A total of 10 employees at Maui Police Department’s Wailuku Station have tested positive for COVID-19 since the first case was reported at the department on Aug. 27. All 10 of the COVID-19 positive individuals work out of the Wailuku Police Station and are a combination of sworn and civilian employees who have limited contact with the general public.

Third Maui Police Department Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Maui Police Department now has three employees who have tested positive for COVID-19. Police say the three individuals work in positions that require limited public interaction and are currently in isolation.
