Mana O Maui is now accepting scholarship applications from girls between the ages of 13-17 to attend  an upcoming Teen Surf Camp, hosted by Maui Surfer Girls, from June 27 to July 3, 2026. Mana O Maui is a nonprofit organization launched in 2023  to provide empowerment programs through Hawaiian cultural education,  adventure education, surf therapy and the healing arts.

Mana O Maui is now accepting applications for full scholarships to attend a week-long, all-inclusive Women’s Surf Camp, hosted by Maui Surfer Girls, Jan. 18–24, 2026. These scholarships are dedicated to supporting Maui women who were deeply affected by the Lahaina or Kula fires of 2023 and who would  otherwise be unable to attend. Applications are open until Nov. 15, 2025, with recipients to be announced by Dec. 1, 2025.

Mana O Maui has introduced two programs aimed at empowering teen girls through outdoor adventure and cultural learning: the Surf-N-Turf Afterschool Program and a scholarship for a summer surf camp.

Maui Surfer Girls is helping individuals overcome fear, anxiety and negative self talk with two different surf therapy programs this May.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce announced the winners for the 2022 Mayor’s Small Business Awards which include: Da Kine Paints with Owner Michelle Heller – Exceptional Small Business of the Year (10 or fewer employees); and Venture Physical Therapy with Owners Ann and Ted Anderson – Exceptional Small Business of the Year (11 to 39 employees).

Maui girls, between the ages of 13 and 17, are invited to apply for a scholarship for the upcoming program to be held in July. Applications are due April 1.

Maui Surfer Girls announced it will continue their scholarship program for Maui teens for their 18th summer teen girls surf camp.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Maui Surfer Girls is offering a ‘Buy 2 and Get 1 Free’ deal for their group surf lessons for the entire month of May.

Maui Surfer Girls is accepting registration for female adolescents and adults for its annual summer surf camp at Camp Olowalu in June and July 2016. One- and two-week camps are available, with the option of attending for three weeks as well.
