Police described the suspect as in his 30s to 40s, standing 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds, with brown hair, a light beard, mustache and receding hairline. Police say the suspect was wearing an orange t-shirt, light blue surf shorts, slippers and sunglasses in surveillance footage.
Help Sought Identifying Suspect in $700 Kahului Purse Theft
Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person wanted for the alleged theft of a Louis Vuitton purse, valued at $700, from the From Rome to Paris store at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in Kahului last month.

A female suspect who was allegedly observed with stolen merchandise in her purse was being detained and escorted by store security officers when an unknown male individual “physically wrested the officer’s grasp, freeing the female offender.”
