The Maui Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Mayor’s Small Business Awards, which recognize outstanding small businesses in Maui County.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce has announced nominees for the 2024 Mayor’s Small Business Awards, which will be held on Sept. 19.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce is reminding the community that nominations are still being accepted for the Annual Mayor’s Small Business Awards in 2024 and are due on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. All nominees and winners will be honored during an event on Sept. 19, 2024.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce announced the nominees for the 2020 Mayor’s Small Business Awards. Nominees and winners will be honored during a virtual event on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce now is seeking nominations for the Annual Mayor’s Small Business Awards in 2020. The awards recognize outstanding businesses in the community that have 100 or fewer employees and have had a Hawaii General Excise Tax license for no fewer than two years.

Twenty-eight years, six Mcdonald’s franchises and 300 employees later, Erlinda Rosario still believes in a hands-on approach.

Businesses being considered for the award include: Coconut Condos; Manakai Swimwear LLC; Positive Apparel, LLC; Pure Barre Maui; Wailuku Market LLC dba Kaohu Store; and Yanagida Strength & Fitness LLC.

The nomination deadline for the 2017 Mayor’s Small Business Awards has been extended to Friday, Feb. 17 by 12 p.m.

The list of recipients include: Jason Stenger Jr. of Alpha, Inc. for Young Small Business Person; The Maui Farm for Outstanding Nonprofit Business; Valley Isle Marine Center for Exceptional Small Business with 10 or fewer employees…

A total of 29 nominees were identified in a joint announcement from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Maui Chamber of Commerce including the following individuals and companies…

To be eligible, businesses must have 100 or fewer employees, and hold a Hawaiʻi General Excise Tax license for at least two years.

Last night, Mayor Alan Arakawa in conjunction with the Maui Chamber of Commerce presented the 2012 Mayor’s Small Business Awards at the King Kamehameha Golf Club Waikapu Ballroom.
