Lahaina man rescued from Honokōhau after becoming separated from his group

Emergency responders launched a search by ground, air and ocean, and the missing man was located at around 11:08 a.m., about 100 feet feet down a cliff on the north side of Honokōhau Bay, in heavy vegetation.

Update/Located: Lahaina man reported missing by concerned acquaintance

Update: (July 7, 4:48 p.m.). Miller was located and transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center for evaluation.

Update/located: Lahaina man last seen Saturday night

Update: As of Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, Kyler “Kawai” Nishioka Lani, 24, of Lahaina was located.  He was reported missing on Monday by his family. The Maui Police Department thanked the public for their assistance.

Missing Man, Public Help Sought on Maui

Richard Firth was reported missing on April 13, 19. Police say he may be in the Lahaina area and may visit one of the Starbucks locations.
