Several Hawaiʻi-born actors are hitting the big screen in the live-action “Lilo & Stitch” when it opens in theaters this Friday, May 23. Among them is Kaipo Dudoit of Oʻahu who plays the role of David Kawena.

Film festival favorite “My Partner,” a tender Boys’ Love drama and coming-of-age tale shot in Lahaina prior to the devastating fire in 2023, will be available on major streaming VOD (video on demand) platforms beginning Sept. 24, 2024.
Lahaina film ‘My Partner’ to screen at Lahainaluna High School, March 28
Lahainaluna High School will hold a free public screening of “My Partner” on Thursday, March 28 at the Lahainaluna Sue D. Cooley Football Stadium. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with the screening to begin promptly at 7 p.m.

2023 Hawaiʻi International Film Festival returns to Maui, Oct. 27-29
The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents a return to Maui of the Hawai‘i International Film Festival (HIFF) with six feature films, a program of six short films, and a showcase of four documentaries. All screenings will take place in the MACC’s McCoy Studio Theater starting Friday, Oct. 27 and concluding Sunday, Oct. 29.
