Paddle Imua concludes its 13th Annual Race
The 13th Annual Paddle Imua crowned its champions this Sunday, July 14 following a race down the famed Maliko Run off the north shore of Maui. Paddle Imua is a multi-discipline paddling race which, in the spirit of the Hawaiian word “Imua” (meaning ‘to move forward’), aims to raise funds for Imua Family Services’ Camp Imua program – a 48-year Maui tradition which provides a week-long recreational summer camp experience for children with special needs.
Molokaʻi 2 Oʻahu Paddleboard World Championships to celebrate 25th anniversary
The 25th anniversary of the Molokaʻi 2 OʻahuPaddleboard World Championships (M2O), presented by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority is set to welcome an international field of athletes who will cover more than 32 miles across the Kaiwi Channel, launching from the coastline of Moloka’i and finishing on O’ahu.

Imua Family Services has announced its 13th annual Paddle Imua, scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 14, 2024. This year’s paddle race event also kicks off the Koa Kai Triple Crown, a three-part FOIL series showcasing three classic downwind courses linking the islands of Maui, Molokaʻi and Oʻahu.

The five-day recreational camp for children with special needs is offered each year at no charge for Maui’s keiki. Second Annual Maui Pedal Imua Benefit Ride Raises $17,000
Imua Family Services successfully concluded its second annual Pedal Imua event last weekend netting a profit of $17,000. The 60-mile “gran fondo” tours cyclists around the famed West Maui Loop, and raises funds for Dream Imua, a program that grants child-directed dream days to children in crisis or who have experienced life-altering circumstances.
