Here on Maui, there were a total of five record setting or tying days over the month-long period (from Aug. 17 to Sept. 16), including: 97 degree temperatures in Kahului on Sept. 16; 95 degrees on Sept. 1; 94 degrees on Sept. 15; 93 degrees on Sept. 9; and 92 degrees on Sept. 5, 2019.
