The Sentry returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 2-5 with 60 of the PGA TOUR’s best officially committed to the season-opening event of the 2025 FedExCup Season.

Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler and Justin Rose are among the final field of 59 set to tee it up Jan. 4-7 at The Sentry tournament, which kicks off the 2024 PGA Tour season.

Currently, 38 players have qualified for the Maui golf championship — 28 by heir PGA Tour victories this season and 10 by finishing in the top 30 of the final FedExCup standings in August.

First-time PGA Tour winners Tom Kim of South Korea and Dallas resident Will Zalatoris have qualified for the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Maui.

Twenty-five year old, Xander Schauffele is the winner of this year’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, which concluded on Sunday at The Plantation Course on Maui.

Gary Woodland has a three-stroke lead going into the final day of the Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Maui.

Rory McIlroy, 14-time PGA TOUR winner, will be making his first start at the  2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

McIlroy, along with 20 other players are eligible for the 2017 Tournament of Champions, which returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 4-8, 2017.

At least a dozen golfers under the age of 30 are making the cut by winning tournaments and becoming eligible for the 2016 winners-only event, scheduled to take place Jan. 6-10, 2016 at The Plantation Course at the Kapalua Resort.
