The Maui Planning Commission will review the latest draft for the South Maui Community Plan during a public meeting from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Testimony will be accepted.
First South Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee meeting announced
The South Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee will hold its first meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Lokelani Intermediate School cafeteria at 1401 Līloa Drive, Kīhei. The event kicks off the next phase of the South Maui Community Plan update.

Applications are available and are now being accepted for South Maui residents interested in serving on the South Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee.
Discussion begins on South Maui CPAC selection and application process
The County Charter and Chapter 2.80B, Maui County Code, direct the appointment of the CPAC for each community plan area. Committee members are appointed to provide resident input in the planning process. CPAC members provide guidance on local issues that influence the physical, social, and economic development of their community and are charged with reviewing and recommending revisions to update the Community Plan.
