Senate Committee on Ways and Means advances executive budget bill
The Senate Committee on Ways and Means on Monday passed House Bill 300 Senate Draft 1, which outlines the Executive Branch state budget for the upcoming fiscal years.
Gov. Green finalizes veto decisions and signs 10 bills into law
Gov. Josh Green, M.D., issued his final veto decisions today after additional analysis and input from stakeholders. Of the 17 bills on his original Intent to Veto List, Green issued seven vetoes. He signed four bills after issuing line-item reductions, and six bills were signed into law.

With the rebounding of the State’s economy and significant increases in tax revenues, the Senate coffers are anticipating the general fund to be $ 8,772,816,000 for FY22 and $ 9,299,185,000 in FY23.
