The vaccination clinic team at Maui Health was honored Friday for their outstanding efforts in helping to vaccinate Maui residents with more than 83,000 doses since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Statewide, there were 61 people hospitalized with COVID-19, including five on Maui. Maui Memorial Medical Center is now the only site on island to administer monoclonal antibody therapy (mAb) treatment, according to Maui Health.

The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Nursing program will once again co-sponsor two upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 11 from 8 to 11 a.m., both at the Binhi at Ani Filipino Community Center, located at 780 Oneheʻe Ave. in Kahului.

The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College has scheduled a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kahului campus.

Data compiled by the Hawai’i Department of Health show more than one-million people in Hawai‘i are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

On Saturday, the downward trend in new COVID-19 cases continued in Hawaiʻi with the report of 196 new cases, including 16 on Maui. There also were four deaths reported.

The Maui Health clinic will now provide booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine to all eligible health care and other frontline workers, including teachers and hotel employees, whose occupation or workplace settings present an increased risk of infection or transmission of COVID-19.

Starting Monday the Maui District Health Office, in partnership with the Hawaiʻi National Guard Maui medics will stand up regular clinics for all vaccinations (shots #1,2, 3 and boosters) throughout the month of October.

There were 279 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Saturday. The latest data represents a total of 4,653 “active” cases over two weeks. Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 14.3 per 100,000 today.

There were 366 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 39 on Maui and four on Moloka‘i.

There were 445 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Thursday, including 52 on Maui and seven on Molokaʻi.

There were 280 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Tuesday, including 21 on Maui and one on Molokaʻi.

Multiple pop-up COVID-19 vaccination sites are available across Maui at various times and locations throughout the month of September.

There were 380 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 54 on Maui.

There were 455 new COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 51 on Maui, 3 on Moloka‘i and 1 on Lāna‘i. There were also 13 COVID-19 deaths reported today.\

There were 831 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Thursday, including 102 on Maui, two on Molokaʻi and one on Lānaʻi.

There were 625 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 96 on Maui and two each on Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi. There were also eight COVID-related deaths reported today–one on Maui and seven on O‘ahu.

The confirmed cases included: 80 on O‘ahu (+1 probable); 17 on Hawai‘i Island (+3 probable); 12 on Kaua‘i; 3 on Maui (+6 probable); and two in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
