DOH issues alert on Tru Fru freeze dried fruit products due to metal hazard
The Hawai‘i Department of Health, Food and Drug Branch is alerting residents of a recall issued by Georgia Nut Company, a third-party manufacturer for Tru Fru, LLC for its Tru Fru brand freeze dried products, because of the potential presence of metal in the product.
Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya Coming Soon to Maui Mall Village
Maui Mall Village today announced that Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open at the center in early fall 2024. The restaurant, which operates four locations on Oʻahu, offers fresh, gourmet and affordable Japanese ramen and bar-style dishes. It serves traditional flavors in a chic modern environment with an array of options, from build-your-own ramen to a selection of signature dishes. Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open near Center Court with seating for about 40 guests.
Voluntary recall warning issued for 365 Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad Kits
The Hawai‘i State Department of Health Food and Drug Branch is warning residents of a voluntary recall by Braga Fresh of its 365 by Whole Foods Market Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad 12oz. Kits because they may contain incorrect condiment ingredients, resulting in undeclared milk and egg allergens not listed on the product label.
