North: Wave heights are expected to be around waist/chest/shoulder high to head high for spots catching the trade swell.

West: Surf is waist/chest high and up to shoulder high today out of the southwest. Spots from Kihei to around Olowalu/Lahaina will be smaller due to shadowing from the other islands.

South: Surf is waist/chest high today with the best breaks getting shoulder high on the sets.

Screen Shot 2016-06-16 at 9.27.29 PMOur current south will fade over the next few days. Next week a series of south-southwest pulses are expected to filter in starting June 20th.

Trade swell will bring choppy surf to northeast exposures.

Quiet in the North Pacific at this time with nothing of note generating swell energy for the foreseeable future.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
