#Maui Filipino Community Council

In celebration of Filipino American History Month, the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce, together with the Maui Filipino Community Council and UH Maui College Kabatak Club, will host The Filipino Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the UH Maui College Pilina Building Events Center.

The Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with the County of Maui and the Maui Filipino Community Council, will host the 12th annual Philippine flag-raising ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. in front of the Kalana O Maui Building in Wailuku.

A Thanksgiving Bayanihan Food Distribution will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9 am at the War Memorial Gymnasium Parking Lot in Wailuku.

A sixth Bayanihan food distribution will be held Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Binhi at Ani Filipino Community Center in Kahului. The drive-through food distribution is open to the public and will begin at 9 am and continue until the supplies of produce and assorted groceries are gone.

Shelby Bantilan, 20, secured the title as well as competition awards in the Lifestyle & Fitness in Swimsuit, and Best in Talent phases of the competition.

Governor Michael Marcos Keon of Ilocos Norte, Philippines will visit Maui and Oahu in an effort to familiarize himself with the Ilocanos community in Hawaii.
