#PGA Tour Maui

The Sony Open in Hawaiʻi at Waiʻalae Country Club on Oʻahu will be the 2026 PGA Tour season opener Jan. 15-18 after the Tour announced today that The Sentry will not be contested in 2026. 

The 2019 Sentry champion Xander Schauffele picked up his second major championship title and second victory of the 2024 season at The Open Championship, while Nick Dunlap captured his second win of the season at the Barracuda Championship. The Sentry welcomes PGA TOUR winners from the previous calendar year and the top 50 players from the final FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List when the event returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Maui from Jan. 2-5, 2025.

The Sentry announced Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, and Jordan Spieth will make their return to the event on Maui from Jan. 4-7, 2024, at The Plantation Course at Kapalua.

With their recent titles, Emiliano Grillo, Jason Day, Wyndham Clark and Tony Finau are among the latest players to qualify for the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions is now accepting volunteer registration for the 2023 event, which returns for the 25th year to The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 4-8, 2023.

As the 2021-22 PGA TOUR Season begins next week, tickets are now available for the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, which returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 5-9, 2022.
