    Looking Ahead

Trade winds will continue for Hawaii through the forecast period, becoming stronger tonight through the weekend. A weak front is expected to pass southwestward across the islands later today and Thursday and should bring an increase in showers and clouds, but only light to moderate total rainfall. An upper level disturbance may cause showers to increase once again this weekend.

    Today

Mostly sunny with scattered windward showers. High temperatures from 83° to 88°. Northeast winds around 15 to 20 mph.

UV index at 8 (“very high” exposure level)

    Tonight

East winds around 15 to 25 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers and clearing skies as the night goes on. Low temperatures from 70° to 75°.
