A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the north facing shores of Moloka’i and Maui (18 to 22 foot faces) and the west side of Moloka’i (10 to 15 feet) through 6:00 p.m. Thursday. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County waters (except Māʻalaea Bay) through 6:00 p.m. Thursday for rough seas up to 10 feet. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

We expect mostly sunny skies today. Light and variable winds are forecasted up to 10 mph. Afternoon sea breezes are likely to develop. High temperatures are forecasted to fall in the range of 79° to 84°.

Partly cloudy skies are forecasted tonight. Light and variable winds are expected up to 10 mph. Land breezes are likely to develop. Cool temperatures are expected with low temperatures from 59° to 64° degrees expected.

Looking Ahead
Dry and stable conditions are expected over the state through Thursday. Winds will become southwest and rapidly strengthen on Friday as a front approaches the state from the west. The front will bring showers across the islands Friday night through Saturday night. The front will also produce moderate showers with a small chance of being locally heavy at times. Drier weather will return by early next week.
