Looking Ahead
Slight decrease in trade wind speeds and direction more easterly than normal. Note that a slightly enhanced pocket of moisture may cause an increase in trade showers over the windward Big Island and Maui into Thursday. Thereafter, moderate to at times locally breezy trade winds will dominate through the upcoming weekend. Low clouds and showers carried by the trades will remain focused over windward and mauka areas, with showers occasionally passing over leeward sections of some islands.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast today with scattered showers for windward and mauka spots. Sunshine with scattered morning showers and isolated afternoon showers in leeward areas. Northeast winds from 10 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 88°.
