The state Department of Health reports that there were 93 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 85 confirmed cases and eight cases that were identified as probable. The confirmed cases included: 65 on O‘ahu; 15 on Maui, one on Hawai‘i Island, and three in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state. The probable cases included: six on O‘ahu, two on O‘ahu and one in a Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.
May 21, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 61 Cases (39 Oahu, 3 Hawaii Island, 3 Kauai, 1 Maui, 1 Molokai, 14 Out-of-State); 2 Deaths
The state Department of Health reports that there were 61 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 61 confirmed cases and 0 cases that were identified as probable. The confirmed cases included: 39 on O‘ahu; three each on Hawai‘i Island and Kaua‘i; one each on Maui and Moloka‘i; and 14 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
Proof of Vaccination Required for Exemption from Post-Arrival Testing
The County of Maui issued a reminder to trans-Pacific travelers to Maui, saying that although fully vaccinated travelers are exempt from Maui County’s post-arrival testing requirement, they are required to provide documentation as proof.

May 19, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 73 Cases (58 Confirmed, 15 Probable)
The state Department of Health reports that there were 73 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 58 confirmed cases and 15 cases that were identified as probable. The confirmed cases included: 41 on O‘ahu, seven on Hawai‘i, four on Maui, two on Moloka‘i, and four in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
Maui Police Department to Continue Mask Mandate Enforcement
The Maui Police Department today issued a statement saying the officers will continue enforcement of the mandatory mask mandate throughout the county as outlined in Maui Mayor Michael Victorino’s Public Health Emergency Rules.

Mauliola Pharmacy will be conducting a Drive-Through COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, May 19 from 4-8 p.m. in the Maui High School student parking lot. The clinic is open to the community for ages 12 and up.
