An invasive stink bug has been discovered at a UHMC garden on Maui that poses a threat to a wide range of crops on the island and in the state, Agricultural officials announced today.

The closure related to Wednesday’s shark incident off Waipuʻilani Beach Park has since been lifted. Nothing further was observed that would warrant the continuation of the closure.
