Bring it Home, the signature summer performance of Adaptations Dance Theater (ADT), returns July 6 and 7, 2018 to Seabury Hall’s ‘A‘ali‘ikūhonua Creative Arts Center. ADT will present original by a cast of local and guest artists who all have ties to Maui.

The annual Makawao Rodeo Parade takes place on Sat. July 7 2018 and The Makawao History Museum and Habibi are serving up pancakes and Portuguese sausage starting at 7:30 a.m. 

Tickets are now on sale for the Henry Kapono & Friends show at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion starting at 5:00 p.m. on Sun., Aug. 26, 2018 in a concert celebrating the music beloved by locals and Hawaiian music fans around the world.

The Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center and the Auwahi Forest Restoration Project are partnering on Family Day June 30th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hui to present Wahi Pana Auwahi, an exposition of works by Maui artists highlighting the protection and restoration of native dry forest at Auwahi.

Public Aerial 4th of July Firework Displays:  The first will occur on the Fourth of July at around 8 p.m. from an offshore barge along Front Street in Lahaina.  A separate display is planned for Saturday, July 7, 2018, at around 9 p.m., as part of the 26th annual Lānaʻi Pineapple Festival.

The Lāna`i Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development, will be holding Lāna`i Fifth Friday in Dole Park on June 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Schaefer Gallery presents two concurrent photography exhibitions,  running from June 23 through Aug. 17, 2018, featuring the work of photographers Ai Iwane and Melissa Ann Pinney.  

The 27th Annual Kī Hō`alu Guitar Festival features an all-star lineup including some of Hawai‘i’s best slack key guitar players who will perform a full afternoon of melodious Hawaiian music.

Kihei’s 4th Friday Town Party takes place on June 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Azeka Shopping Center, featuring free entertainment by Kuaola, Keoni’s Hot Lava Dance Fit Zumba and Ekolu.

Jazz Maui’s 2018 East Meets West Festival begins on June, 27 2018, and runs through July 4, at various venues across Maui. 

An estimated $15,000 was raised during a recent benefit concert at Fleetwood’s on Front St. to assist Maui musician Willie K in his battle against lung cancer.

The Maui Film Festival has wrapped its nineteenth year of cinema-under- the-stars with special awards this year going to Amber Heard and Nick Robinson.

The Hui No‘eau is hosting its annual Family Day 2018 on Sat., June 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. The family friendly event is open to the public with free admission.

Several summer camps are available at The Keiki Playhouse between June and August for kids up to age 12 at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center.
