Update: Naʻalae Road added back to Boil Water Advisory list
Residents of Naʻalae Road were added back to the County of Maui’s Boil Water Advisory list today, Dec 29, 2021. The area was previously removed from the list, but was added back today because the department is conducting maintenance in the area, replacing standpipes, and flushing lines.
Dec. 26 Upcountry Boil Water Advisory Update
The department also has conducted additional testing and residents of Lower Kula Road are now advised to boil water as a precaution until further notice.
Boil Water Advisory lifted for Na‘alae Rd.; Remains in place for others
The County of Maui Department of Water Supply reports this morning that water sample testing has removed Naʻalae Road in Kula from the list of areas where a boil water advisory remains in effect. Residents of Naʻalae Road no longer need to boil water as a precaution against findings of trace amounts of E. coli in the Upper Kula water system.
Boil Water Advisory Issued for Honokōhau, Possible E. Coli Contamination
The Department of Water Supply is advising customers in the Honokōhau area to boil water before consumption due to possible E. coli contamination.
ʻĪao Boil Water Restriction Lifted, Water Conservation Request Remains
Effective Sept. 19, 2016, 2:00 p.m., the Department of Water Supply has cancelled water restrictions for consumers on ʻĪao Valley Road and Main Street who were previously given notice of the water restriction. The request to conserve water remains in effect for Wailuku, Kahului and Lahaina.

Maui Flood Warnings, Watches and Advisories 3/9/12
A Flash Flood Warning has been extended for Maui until 12:15 p.m. At 9 a.m., forecasters from the National Weather Service reported that radar showed rainfall had ended over East Maui, but runoff levels remain high.
