MFD/ARFF recruit class Live Fire Training

The training will be conducted at the MFD/State of Hawaii Joint Training Facility off Keolani Place near Kahului Airport. The live fire sessions will be held on Nov. 3, 6, 9, 13, 17 and 20, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Maui Fire Department wildland training, Nov. 1

The Maui Fire Department will be conducting wildland live fire training on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 from around 8:30 a.m. to noon in the fields below the Maui Tropical Plantation.

The Maui Fire Department will conduct a single day live fire wildland training exercise on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. The training will take place on a parcel of Mahi Pono land just south of Haleakalā Highway and west of Keahua Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. This is an extension of the training conducted last month.

The training takes place on a parcel of Mahi Pono land just south of Haleakalā Highway and west of Keahua Road on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  

Live Fire Training at Kahului Airport: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Fire fighting units at Kahului Airport will be conducting fire training exercises today, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Smoke may be visible in the airport area. It is only a drill.

Firefighting Training at Kahului Airport

There will be firefighting exercises at Kahului Airport today, Sept. 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Maui Wildland Firefighting Refresher Training in April

The Maui Fire Department conducts wildland firefighting refresher training in the Launiupoko and Central Maui areas on April 17-19 and 22-24.

Training Exercise in Central Maui, Jan. 31

A training exercise is planned this Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 in Central Maui for members of the Hawaiʻi National Guard, Maui police officers and firefighters.
