Today is Primary Election Day across the state of Hawaiʻi. The election runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024.

Voter service centers open in Wailuku and on Molokaʻi; limited hours on Lānaʻi and in Hāna

Supreme Court Hearing Set on Investment Property Surcharge Amendment

The Supreme Court of Hawai’i has accepted a petition from all four counties to hear their arguments against a constitutional amendment which proposes to allow the state to impose a “surcharge” upon “investment property.”

Maui Voters Head to the Polls: Voting Open Until 6 p.m.

The state’s 232 polling places opened as planned today with no major problems reported by mid-day. Here in Maui County, there are a total of 34 polling places and 87,327 registered voters.

Early Walk-in Voting Sites Open Oct. 21

Early walk-in voting begins at selected sites throughout the state on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. The early walk-in voting will be available through Saturday, Nov. 1, and is available for registered voters who want to vote early instead of going to their polling site on election day.
