#Hotel Hana-Maui

Two Maui properties, the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Kāʻanapali and Wailea Beach Villas, A Destination Hotel, opened on Oct. 15. On Nov. 1, the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort began welcoming guests back; and next week Friday, Nov. 20, the Hāna-Maui Resort is slated to open.

Hāna-Maui Resort (formerly Travaasa Hāna) announced it will be joining the Hyatt family, with Hyatt assuming management under the Destination Hotels brand.

County officials say the resort will be renamed to Hāna-Maui Resort and expects to resume operations once travel restrictions are lifted.

Hotel executives announced the start of an extensive $12 million guest room restoration project at the Travaasa Hāna resort in East Maui. Upon completion of the project at the end of 2015, all 70 bungalows and suites at the resort will offer new and returning guests an enhanced vacation experience, according to a resort announcement.

Rental car services are now available to motorists traveling into or out of the remote town of Hāna, in East Maui. Enterprise Rent-A-Car joins in a partnership with the Travaasa Experiential Resorts to provide car rentals to travelers.

As part of its new resort offerings, Travaasa Hana (formerly Hotel Hana-Maui) recently debuted the island’s only hotel archery experience.

The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea earned top 3 ranking for Best Overall Hotel in the US, in the 2012 Traveler’s Choice awards issued by TripAdvisor.

The 30 percent-off deal comes following the branding change of the formerly known Hotel Hāna-Maui, to the Travaasa Hāna several weeks ago.
