The Makena Beach & Golf Resort recently held an in-house job fair; 35 employers representing 55 Maui resort properties with job openings participated.

Ann Roberts has been promoted to the new position of Food & Beverage Operations Manager at the Makena Beach & Golf Resort. She’ll help provide leadership in all financial aspects of the resort’s four restaurants and eateries, and assist in all banquet/catering functions, nightly operations and the resort’s food and wine events.

In what resort leaders call a “well-deserved promotion,” Kurt Lesmerises has moved up from Chef de Cuisine to Executive Chef at Mākena Beach & Golf Resort. He will now oversee all the culinary and banquet programs.

Landmark Hotels Group announced the promotion of Carmine Iommazzo to general manager at The Makena Beach & Golf Resort.
