County MAPPS site will be temporarily offline May 8-10 for planned software maintenance, upgrades

During planned software maintenance and upgrades for the County of Maui Automated Planning and Permitting System from 6 p.m. Friday, May 8, until noon Sunday, May 10, 2026, users will not be able to access the online system, according to the County Department of Management Information Technology Services Division.

County’s MAPPS will be temporarily offline June 13-14 due to software maintenance

The County of Maui’s automated planning and permitting system, or MAPPS (Maui’s Automated Planning and Permitting System), will be offline from 6 p.m. Friday, June 13, to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, due to planned software maintenance.

On April 18, Maui County launched MAPPS — Maui’s Automated Planning and Permitting System, a new web-based software designed to support planning and permit processing.

Maui County is transitioning to a new, web-based software designed to provide greater public transparency and improved customer service for planning and permit processing. It is called MAPPS.
