Paulele Market featuring 28 vendors comes to Maui, Dec. 6-7

Organizers wanted to bring a curated, community event to Maui that supported the creative talent of vendors from all over the state, while also giving back to the local community. There will be 28 vendors participating — most are from Maui. Other vendors are flying in from the Big Island, Kaua‘i and O‘ahu.

Mana Up, the Hawai‘i-based accelerator dedicated to growing local product businesses, is expanding to Maui with “The Mana Up Market” at Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows. Set to open in May 2025, this new retail space will showcase products from entrepreneurs who have participated in Mana Up’s statewide accelerator program — bringing their locally made goods to both residents and visitors to Maui.

Several Maui-based small businesses will participate in Mana Up’s inaugural Aloha Market from April 26-28 in SoHo, Manhattan, New York. The city will host the multi-day Hawai‘i-themed immersive shopping and cultural event, featuring 40 companies.

Maui County products showcased at FoodEx trade event in Tokyo

Fifteen Maui companies and one from Moloka‘i exhibited their products at the renowned 49th International Food and Beverage Exhibition 2024. More than two dozen other companies from Hawai‘i also took part in the FoodEx event, held from March 5-8 at the Tokyo Big Sight in the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.

The Bissen administration focus on infrastructure, agriculture, economic diversification and affordable housing were also highlighted during meetings with Hawaiʻi congressional delegation.
