A ceremonial check was presented on March 29 to Nā Leo Pūlama o Maui, the nonprofit that organizes Hoʻomau and supports Pūnana Leo o Maui, an immersion preschool in Wailuku.

The Festivals of Aloha is set to return for its third year, the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea announced on Wednesday. The weekend of events from Oct. 25 to 27, 2024 celebrates Hawaiian heritage and traditions through a series of immersive cultural experiences, musical performances and local artisan showcases.

Maui County is gearing up for its largest products show, the annual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival, which returns on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2.

The 27th Annual East Maui Taro Festival will be held on April 13 and 14, 2019 in Hāna at the Hāna Ballpark from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

The 2018 Made in Maui County Festival’s official program booklet tied for Bronze in the “Best Event Program” for events under $250,000.

This Maui Resort Will Host a Variety of Traditional Hawaiian Activities and Experiences for Guests and Locals Alike

The 2017 Maui Filipino-American Heritage Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center.

The award was presented at a ceremony held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, during the International Economic Development Council’s annual conference in Toronto

The third annual Maui Songwriters Festival will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 2, at several locations throughout Maui.

The free event will celebrate the canoe crop and feature live Hawaiian entertainment, delicious food made from ‘ulu, crafts, games and more

This year’s free event includes performances by Makana, Kevin & Ikaika Brown, Blayne Asing, Aja Gample, Ho‘okena, George Kuo, George Kahumoku & Friends, to name a few.

The event will showcase over 80 craft brews from mainland and Hawai‘i-based breweries, as well as a wide range of food offerings from some of Maui’s favorite chefs

The two-day long festival includes an elite stand up paddle and outrigger canoe race and family-friendly cultural activities including Hawaiian canoe sailing and a Lu’au.

The annual event is geared to celebrate, educate and empower the women of Maui through a series of workshops, social gatherings, pop-up shops, and a music festival

This free family event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Market Street.

This year, the HTA is funding 23 events for the island, including World Whale Day, Kā‘ānapali Fresh, Lahaina Plantation Days, and 3rd Maui Open Studios.

During calendar year 2012, the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development issued more than $5.1 million dollars in grant monies to 18 local organizations.

Maui artist Taryn Alessandro has been named the winner of the inaugural “Art Wine & Food” art competition and the official festival artist of the first annual Wailea Wine & Food Festival, December 6-9.

…as well as the annual Maui Academy of Performing Arts Garden Party, all part of Maui’s line-up this weekend.

Also, Maui film “Get a Job,” Riddim of Knowledge reggae show, and a Starry Night Cinema screening of “My Dog Skip.”
