#Maui open studios

Maui Open Studios concludes its three week self-guided art experience with a grand finale weekend in South Maui, Feb. 28 through March 1, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

More than 75 artists across the island are opening their working studios during this event – from garages and lanais to tucked-away creative spaces – for this free, self-guided experience.

The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College’s Music Studies faculty will open their classroom doors for special events, and share their knowledge and expertise with the public for a week-long celebration of all things musical from April 18 to 25, 2015.

This Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16, brings the second weekend – the middle child, if you will – of the annual Maui Open Studios event.

The Maui Open Studios event – showcasing everything from sculpture and glass blowing to magic realism and whimsical gourd creations – starts this weekend.
