#Pilot Program

A pilot program is now in place, providing water-from-air generators, water bottles, and UV lights and replacement filters to the Hawai’i Technology Academy. It’s part of a larger program to bring clean drinking water to schools all over the Island. The announcement was made by the nonprofit Eye of the Needle Holistic Living organization.

By order of the Public Utilities Commission, Hawaiian Electric has postponed the start of the new Shift and Save pilot program for approximately 17,000 residential and business customers who were selected at random to test time-of-use rates on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island and Maui.

The County of Maui Department of Housing and Human Concerns is soliciting grant proposals for the new Safe Parking Pilot Program.

The State of Hawaiʻi Digital Currency Innovation Lab, a pilot program, will be extended two years to operate until June 30, 2024.
