Utility work to periodically close one lane on Honoapi‘ilani Highway, March 9-13
Sections of the right northbound lane of Honoapi‘ilani Highway between Fleming Road and the intersection at Kāʻanapali Parkway/Hālelo Street may be intermittently closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 and from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, for roving Hawaiian Telcom utility work. One lane will be open for through traffic.

An approximately 150-foot-long stretch of the makai lane on Honoapi‘ilani Highway is being undermined just about half mile south of Olowalu Village. Immediate actions include moving the existing barricades along the makai shoulder further mauka. Other work will include stabilizing the shoreline and pushing lanes more mauka.

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises the public of nighttime lane closures along Honoapi‘ilani Highway (Route 30) beginning Monday, Feb. 26. Lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, through Friday, March 1, in the vicinity of Kaniau Road to Keawe Street.
