The Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival will exclusively source all limes and lemons used in its 2025 events from Mahi Pono as part of a continued effort to support local agriculture and promote sustainability in Hawai‘i’s food and beverage industry.

Mahi Pono is bringing fresh flavors and big news to this year’s Maui AgFest with the debut of its new Maui-grown coffee, produced in collaboration with Hawaiʻi’s iconic Lion Coffee, and the official launch of its popular summer watermelon season. Both will be featured at the festival this Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku.

Mahi Pono LLC has announced the promotion of Maui’s Shan Tsutsui to chief operating officer. Tsutsui succeeds Tim O’Laughlin who will be relocating to California to focus on new initiatives for both Mahi Pono and Pomona Farming.

The long-term goal at Mahi Pono is to bring sustainable agriculture to Maui with strong, integrated farming practices that are economically viable, environmentally sound and good for our community.

As COO, O’Laughlin joins Mahi Pono’s leadership team on Maui which includes, Shan Tsutsui, executive vice president of operations; Grant Nakama, operations manager; and Darren Strand, manager of farming operations.
