Kama‘āina receive $10 admission for World Ocean Day
World Ocean Day is held each year on June 8 to “help unite and rally the world to protect and restore our blue planet.” Maui Ocean Center will celebrate World Ocean Day with family-friendly activities including live music, art projects and marine naturalist presentations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8. Discounted admission for kama‘āina, with valid Hawaiʻi state ID, is $10 per person (ages 3 and younger are free).
Maui Ocean Center celebrates Earth Day with $10 admission for kamaʻāina
Maui Ocean Center will celebrate Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, with family-friendly fun including face painting, interactive games with prizes and ocean-themed activities led by marine naturalists.
Environmental education programs help kids learn how to protect Maui’s resources
Led by Maui District’s Environmental Management team, the activities are intended to help youngsters learn more about Maui’s natural environment and how to protect it from degradation.
Stormwater Maui to Offer Keiki Learning Activities at the Maui Ocean Center
Stormwater Maui will be on site at the Maui Ocean Center on Aug. 20, Oct. 15, and Dec. 21, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with fun hands-on activities for kids, designed to help them learn more about protecting Maui’s marine environment through stormwater awareness and pollution prevention.
