Coco Deck Lahaina has announced the launch of the ‘Front Street Magic Show,’ a unique dining and entertainment experience, happening every Tuesday evening beginning April 1, 2025. 

The Hana Hou Hospitality brand opens Coco Deck Lahaina, Kitchen + Bar this week, led by Chef Alvin Savella, “The Kitchen Assassin.” Coco Deck Lahaina hosts a soft opening for Maui residents  on Sept. 4 and 5; and an official grand opening on Sept. 7.

Hana Hou Hospitality restaurants will be closed on Aug. 8, 2024, the one-year anniversary of the Lahaina wildfire disaster that killed 102, destroyed thousands of structures and left thousands more homeless.

Hana Hou Hospitality announced its Māla Ocean Tavern is set to reopen in February of 2024. The restaurant is one of five West Maui establishments run by the group, two of which were destroyed by the Aug. 8, 2023 wildfire in Lahaina.

Executive Chef Alvin Savella, known in the culinary world as “The Kitchen Assassin,” has opened a new restaurant on Maui, Duckine.

Acclaimed Chef Alvin Savella was named Executive Chef of the local West Maui restaurant group that includes Māla Ocean Tavern, Down The Hatch, and Breakwall Shave Ice Co. Chef Savella known as the “Kitchen Assassin,” was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui.

Pūlehu, an Italian Grill at the Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas announces a new dessert menu featuring a fresh take on classics with culinary enhancements made by recently appointed chef de cuisine Alvin Savella. The new dessert menu is available beginning Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015.
