Erin Wade, a seasoned urban planning professional with more than 20 years of experience in municipal leadership, was sworn in Thursday morning as the County of Maui’s Deputy Managing Director.
Draft EA filed for Hālau of ‘Ōiwi Art, construction expected to start in 2024
The Hālau replaces the three-story County building that was originally proposed for the site as part of the Wailuku Civic Complex project. Construction is expected to break ground in 2024, with completion slated for 2026.
Blessing ceremony held for new Wailuku Parking Structure
The new four-level parking structure will feature a total of 428 parking stalls, EV charging stations, high ceilings and lighting for better visibility, two elevators, and it will be ADA compliant. The facility was also designed to support farmers markets and festivals on the ground level.
