Those that attempt to pass may have to reverse long distances on an incline. Road closures are in effect daily between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. between mile 11 and 13.4 of the Kahekili Highway.

A second pig hunter that was missing since Sunday night was located at around 11 a.m. today, according to Maui Fire Captain Jeff Kihune. The first hunter was located at around 7:30 this morning by a rescue helicopter.
