LahainaTown Action Committee and the Rotary Clubs of Lahaina have announced the return of the 43rd Annual Halloween Keiki Parade on Front Street, happening Oct. 31, 2022, from 4-7 p.m.

No injuries were reported after an armed robbery occurred on Front Street in Lahaina earlier today.

Police will be closing Front Street from Baker Street to Prison Street at 3:30 p.m., and anticipate re-opening Front Street at approximately 11 p.m. Roberts Hawaiʻi is offering a shuttle service as a way for people to get safely to and from Lahaina for Halloween without needing to worry about parking.

Island brand, Hi I Like You, was selected to print this year’s Halloween in Lahaina T-shirt.  The eco-friendly company uses sustainable clothing that utilizes materials such as recycled plastic bottles to “spread happiness and send positive messages.”

The Maui Police Department is issuing a reminder to the public of road closures and slowed traffic due to this year’s Halloween event in Lahaina.

Here is a list of festivities scheduled for this yearʻs Front Street Halloween celebration. 

The Lahaina Town Action Committee, which organizes the Halloween in Lahaina event each year, is currently soliciting sponsors and donations.

The public is invited to purchase 2018 Shuttle Bus tickets for the upcoming 2018 Lahaina Town Action Committee’s Halloween on Front Street event. 

Today’s 38th Annual Keiki Halloween Parade starts at 4:30 p.m. from the corner of Papalaua and Front Street.

The 38th Annual Keiki Halloween Parade will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, hosted by the three Rotary clubs of Lahaina.

Police say there were no arrests made during this year’s event, but there were three traffic citations issued on Front Street.

The LahainaTown Action Committee and the Maui Office of Economic Development host Halloween in Lahaina, a family friendly event on Maui.

The Wharf Cinema Center hosts its Annual Costume Karaoke Contest this Halloween, Oct. 31, 2016 in Lahaina.

There were a total of three arrests and six traffic citations issued during the 2015 Halloween in Lahaina event on Front Street on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015. Police estimate a crowd of between 20,000 and 25,000 people attended the annual event, down from the 28,000 estimate in 2014.

Police say the enhanced enforcement will include multiple intoxication control checkpoints at various locations.

A total of four adult males were arrested during the event for the following infractions: outstanding bench warrant and resisting arrest; third degree promotion of a detrimental drug; disorderly conduct; and operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.

“I guess because Halloween is on a Friday this year, rather than Thursday last year, we can look forward to a big crowd because they’re not going to have to go back to work the next day. Saturday is a day off, so it should be really fun,” said Mayor Arakawa.

Highlights include the 36th Annual Keiki Halloween Costume Parade at 4:30 p.m. sponsored by the West Maui Soroptomists, Lahaina Rotary Clubs, and the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaiʻi.

Advance tickets are on sale for the Lahaina Halloween Express shuttle that will operate on Halloween, Oct. 31, 2014, for individuals looking for a way to get to and from the Front Street Halloween festivities.
