Reservation System Launched for Haleakalā Crater Overnight Wilderness Camping
Visitors planning to backpack in Haleakalā National Park are now able to reserve Haleakalā Crater wilderness campsites in advance online. The new reservation system through Recreation.gov and wilderness camping in Haleakalā Crater officially opened on Earth Day, April 22 at 7 a.m. HST.

Haleakalā Visitor Center Temporarily Closed
The Headquarters Visitor Center (at the 7,000 foot elevation) in the Summit District of Haleakalā National Park is temporarily closed from today through Friday, Dec. 6, for the installation of new exhibits.
