The MAMo Wearable Art Show will showcase the designs of Maui’s own Koa Johnson and Kealiʻi Reichel, as well as fellow designers Maile Andrade, Manuhealiʻi, Marques Hanalei Marzan, Taupouri Tangarō, and Wahine Toa.

As the story is told, Kūlanihāko‘i is a mystical lake, situated high in the heavens, and a place from which all life flows. The hula drama utilizes dance, chant, storytelling and dramatic interpretation to depict the many facets of water, and the relationship between the ocean, land, sky and all living things.

On October 8th The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is launching their second season of “Solo Sessions,” featuring legendary Hawaiian musicians Robert Cazimero, Keali‘i Reichel, and Jake Shimabukuro.

Halau Ke’alaokamaile Earns Overall Title in 2011 Merrie Monarch

Halau Kealaokamaile, under the direction of Kumu Hula Kealii Reichel, returns to Maui with accolades and honors from the hula world.


Luminaries can be purchased in advance at the Pacific Radio Group offices located at 311 Ano Street in Kahului or on the day of the event on the shoreline of Kahului Harbor near the Hawaiian Hale at the Hawaiian Canoe Club facilities.
