Beginning in 2012, energy partners from the United States and Japan will collaborate on a multimillion dollar smart grid demonstration project in neighborhoods in the Kihei and Wailea areas.

The Kihei-Wailea Medical Center will open its doors to the public on Saturday, June 11, for a free medical screening clinic. Designed to assist those without medical insurance, the clinic will feature a range of diagnostic services throughout the day—free of charge.
