Department officials say the request comes following a Maui Electric power failure in Nāpili at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, March 8, 2016.

Perched on the West Maui coastline between Kahana and Kapalua is the Napili area. The main draw of Napili is that it’s tucked away from most of the West Maui hustle and bustle, so residents and visitors love this area.
