Two more Maui women are the recipients of grand prizes as part of the latest round of prize distribution in the state’s #HIGotVaccinated campaign.

The confirmed cases included: 106 on O‘ahu; 25 on Hawai‘i Island (+2 probable); 10 on Maui (+1 probable); four on Kaua‘i; and 15 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state (-1 probable).

The confirmed cases included: 102 on O‘ahu (+3 probable); 34 on Hawai‘i Island; 16 on Maui; Kaua‘i (+1 probable); and seven in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

The Maui Memorial Medical Center today announced it is implementing a vaccine requirement for visitors to the hospital, effective today, July 26, 2021.

“This update to the guidance comes at a time when we are really emphasizing the prioritization of a return to in-person learning for students in K-12 schools,” said Dr. Sarah Kemble.

First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden visited a mobile vaccination clinic at Waipahu High School over the weekend during a stop in Hawaiʻi on her return from the Japan Olympics, where she led the US Delegation during the opening ceremony.

The confirmed cases included: 95 on O‘ahu (-2 probable); 25 on Hawai‘i Island (+2 probable); seven on Maui; nine on Kaua‘i; one on Molokaʻi; and 10 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

The names of the remaining 53 individuals selected for grand prizes will be announced throughout the week, as winners are verified. More than 260,000 individuals registered for the chance to win prizes to date.

The confirmed cases included: 89 on O‘ahu (+2 probable); 18 on Hawai‘i Island (-1 probable); 15 on Maui (+7 probable); 14 on Kaua‘i; and 21 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state (+1 probable).

The #HIGotVaccinated campaign announced the first 15 winners of its June grand prize giveaway. Maui’s Pedro “Pete” Ortiz of Makawao won one roundtrip ticket on Southwest Airlines.
