Storm Postpones Election for Two Big Island Polling Places
Roads leading to polling places at the Hawaiʻi Paradise Community Center and Keoneopoko Elementary School remained closed on Friday afternoon. Voting for those in the affected areas will be done by absentee ballot.

Election Day Tips and Reminders for Hawaiʻi Voters
The state Office of Elections issued a reminder today to assist voters as they make their way to the polls on Saturday, August 9, for the primary election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. Anyone in line at 6 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
