Concierge Auctions announced today that Casa En Maui, a beachfront estate located on Maui’s Keawakapu Beach, is pending sale for $28.56 million. When closed, it will become the largest residential sale to date in Maui in 2025.

Hawaiʻiʻs largest home is headed to auction.  The 21,692-square foot estate on Keawakapu Beach in South Maui is listed for $65 million by Matt Beall and Josh Jerman of Hawaii Life.  The 8 bedroom home with a 2 bedroom caretakersʻ residence and 25-meter lap pool, went up for auction yesterday with bids starting at $20 million, Concierge Auctions announced. 

The County of Maui Department of Housing announced the release of its Fiscal Year 2026 Affordable Housing Fund Annual Plan, which outlines key investments and initiatives designed to address the growing demand for affordable housing across Maui County.

The median price for a single family home on Maui was $1,295,000 in March of 2025, down 0.3% from the same time a year ago. The median price for a condo was $822,500 in March, down 36.8% from the same time in 2024.

The Hawaiʻi Civil Rights Commission and agencies statewide are hosting a free Fair Housing Month Conference on April 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to promote awareness and understanding of fair housing laws. Hunt Capital Partners announced work on the final phase of the Hale O Pi‘ikea affordable housing development in South Maui. Located in Kīhei, Hale O Pi‘ikea III will introduce a mix of one-, two-, and three- bedroom housing options for low-income families earning up to 30%, 40%, and 60% of the Area Median Income. Phase III adds 35 affordable rental homes and one exempt manager’s unit to its 187 units that are already under construction, offering a total of 223 affordable homes for families and seniors who make a range of incomes. 

A bill aimed at protecting Hawaiʻi renters from algorithmic price-setting has cleared the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee, which has recommended passage on second reading and referral to the Judiciary and Ways and Means committees.

The median sales price of a condominium in Maui County has fallen to $675,000, the lowest level in two years. Meanwhile, condo resales volume has been down in the double-digit percentage points for eight of the last nine months.
