Adaptations Dance Theater announces the return of its annual summer performance, “Bring it Home,” celebrating its seventh season with a weekend of contemporary dance at the historic ʻĪao Theater, Aug. 15–17, 2025.

Maui’s contemporary dance company Adaptations Dance Theater (ADT) will present its sixth annual “Bring it Home” dance concert on Aug. 16-18 at the Historic ʻĪao Theater. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The public is invited to celebrate arts, storytelling, and Maui’s cultural heritage on Nov. 1, featuring performances inspired by the stories of water-woman Aunty Sally Ann Delos Reyes of Lahaina.

Adaptations Dance Theater returns with its 5th annual “Bring it Home” dance concert Aug. 11-13, showcasing resident and guest dance artists with an evening-length work.

Maui’s Adaptations Dance Theater will commemorate its milestone anniversary in August with the return of the “Bring it Home” artist residency and dance concert series, featuring collaborations between Maui-raised dance artists and resident dancers.

Adaptations Dance Theater presents Flamingos, Starlings & O’opu, a sensory-friendly performance on Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Imua Discovery Garden in Wailuku.

Contemporary dance company Adaptations Dance Theater will lead the Wailuku Dance Crawl – much in the spirit of a treasure hunt or pub crawl – to travel throughout five distinct Wailuku Town outdoor locations, encourage (re)engagement with these spaces and create the opportunity to make new memories and shared experiences for our community and audience members.

ADT ON DEMAND provides a way for audiences to enjoy the company’s past and present concert dance productions from the comfort of their own homes and on their own schedules – at a time when live performances are still on hold.

Live @ the MACC is presenting a free streaming concert on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. featuring Gypsy Pacific. The concert will stream on MauiArts.org, the MACC’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center will livestream events every Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. through Jan. 30, 2021 for its Live @ the MACC series. The series consists of rock, pop, holiday and Hawaiian music concerts, hula and contemporary dance performances and the visual arts.

The Maui Academy of Performing Arts presents their Spring Extravaganza this weekend, May 4 to 5, 2019 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. 

Wailuku First Friday, a free community street party, takes place on Nov. 2, 2018 with live music and entertainment, food trucks, shopping, art and more on historic Market Street.

Bring it Home, the signature summer performance of Adaptations Dance Theater (ADT), returns July 6 and 7, 2018 to Seabury Hall’s ‘A‘ali‘ikūhonua Creative Arts Center. ADT will present original by a cast of local and guest artists who all have ties to Maui.

An impressive collection of established and emerging Maui-based dance organizations will share their artistry onstage for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.
