Motorists are advised that storm-related repairs on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) in Kula have been completed, a month ahead of schedule.

A Holiday Lane Closure Restriction runs from Monday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Jan. 5. Only closures with demonstrated need (e.g., necessary for safety or to avoid lengthy construction delays) have been approved and are on this list. There will be no lane closures on Wednesday, Dec. 25 in observance of Christmas Day.

The state Department of Transportation will be conducting road work this week that will result in lane closures at various locations. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting. 

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation is notifying highway users and residents that beginning Monday, Sept. 9, a portion of Kekaulike Ave. (Route 377) between Waiakoa Road and ʻAlae Road will be closed for 24 hours, seven days a week, for approximately nine months.

Goodfellow Bros. will begin performing road work on Kekaulike Ave. at Mile 8.2 on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024. A Full road closure will be in effect for this construction area for the next nine months.

Both lanes of Kekaulike Avenue between Mile 8 (vicinity of Maui Wedding Flowers) and Alae Road are closed. Major utility repairs to remove fallen trees from power lines and replace downed poles have been completed, additional utility work is ongoing.
