#Candidate Forum

The Kula Community Association (KCA) hosts a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kula Community Center. This event will feature candidates running for Senate, House, and Maui County Council offices covering nine races. The event offers a platform for candidates to present their views and respond to questions.

The West Maui Taxpayers Association (WMTA) invites West Maui voters to their 2024 Annual Meeting and General Election Candidates Night on Sept. 30, 2024.  A meet and greet starts at 3 p.m., followed by the WMTA Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. and a Candidates Forum at 5:30 p.m. at the Lahaina Civic Center Social Hall.

Candidate interviews conducted by the Kula Community Association will be aired on Akakū Maui Community Media on channels 54 and 55 between Oct. 19-28, 2022.

The West Maui Taxpayers Association is holding a “General Candidates Night” at the Lahaina Civic Center’s Social Hall on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022.

The Haʻikū Community Association presents a virtual candidates forum on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m.

With primary elections on the horizon, Hawaiʻi students will host a candidate forum on KFVE- TV with the following major candidates vying for the office of governor in the Democratic primary election: Vicky Cayetano, Josh Green, and Kai Kahele.

On Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, a candidate forum featuring Rick Nava and Tamara Paltin will be presented by the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Both candidates are running for the West Maui County Council Seat.

GO Maui, Inc., in collaboration with the Maui Chamber of Commerce and the Construction Industry of Maui will host a candidate forum for Maui mayor and county council races on Sept. 12, 2018.

The Ha’iku Community Association and Pa’ia Town Association are hosting a candidate’s night forum.

The Kula Community Association hosts an Upcountry Primary Election Candidate Forum on Wednesday, June 27 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Candidates for Maui Council will participate in a public forum hosted by the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 13 at Maui Tropical Palantation.

The forum is for candidates running for Maui County Council, and will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the Baldwin High School.

The Kula Community Association sponsors a primary election candidate forum on Wednesday, May 18th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Kula Community Center.
